Basement floor coating that protects concrete with a seamless, easy-clean polyaspartic finish after moisture is tested and managed, from storage rooms to family spaces.
A basement floor is just a concrete slab waiting for a purpose. Coated well, it becomes a bright, easy-to-clean surface for a playroom, a gym, a workshop or simple storage. Coated badly, it blisters, peels or smells musty. The difference is almost always moisture. Basement slabs sit against the ground, and Nashville clay holds water, so testing and honest planning matter more here than in an upstairs room. A thoughtful coating also makes the room feel brighter and cleaner.
We start with moisture testing and a look at drainage, grading and gutters, because a coating cannot fix a basement that takes on water. If the readings are acceptable, or after a moisture-mitigating primer, we grind the slab, repair cracks and apply a basecoat, flakes or a solid color and a clear topcoat. We choose finishes with traction and cleaning in mind, and we plan around floor drains, sump pits and walls. If water is the real problem, we say so and suggest waterproofing help before coating.
