Project scheduling and prep checklist that sets the date, explains what to clear and how to prepare, and covers cure times, pets, parking and weather.
Scheduling a coating job is simple when you know what to expect. Dates depend on the size of the floor, the system you chose, the weather and the repairs needed. A prep checklist keeps surprises away: what to move, what to leave, where cars will park and how to keep children and pets out. Nashville's seasons matter too. Spring humidity, summer heat and winter cold all change how coatings cure, so we plan around the forecast.
Once you approve the scope, we pick a date together and send a short checklist. It covers clearing the floor, moving items from the walls, protecting nearby doors and plants, turning off hot water heaters if they are in the garage and arranging parking. We also explain the cure schedule: when you can walk on the floor, when you can move light items back and when you can park. If rain or humidity threatens the schedule, we call you early and offer options. After the job, a walkthrough confirms everything is as planned.
