Full-flake polyaspartic garage floors with a dense broadcast of decorative color flakes sealed under clear topcoats for a durable, textured, forgiving finish.
A full-flake floor is the classic polyaspartic look: a colored basecoat covered edge to edge with decorative flakes, then sealed with clear topcoats. The flakes hide small dings, dust and tire marks, add a light texture and give the floor a rich, speckled depth that changes with the light. It is the most popular garage style because it looks great, forgives daily wear and is easy to keep clean. In Nashville homes, where garages often double as workshops and playrooms, that forgiving surface is a big plus.
We choose the basecoat and flake blend with you, using sample boards so you can see the real colors under garage lighting. After grinding and repairs, the basecoat goes on, flakes are broadcast by hand until the surface is fully covered, and the excess is scraped and swept away once it sets. Clear topcoats lock the flakes in and create a smooth, glossy or satin finish. Because the flakes sit under the clear layers, the surface stays easy to clean, and we can add a little grit to the final coat if you want more traction.
