Patio and porch coating that renews stained or cracked concrete with a UV-stable, slip-resistant polyaspartic finish designed for sun, rain and foot traffic.
Outdoor concrete takes a beating. Sun fades it, rain stains it, algae grows on it and freeze and thaw cracks it. A polyaspartic coating gives a patio or porch a fresh, clean surface that resists UV and water and can include texture for safe footing. Nashville summers are hot and humid, and winter brings freeze and thaw, so exterior coatings should be built for movement and weather. A refreshed patio also makes the whole back of a house feel more finished.
We clean and grind the concrete, repair cracks and chips and check for drainage so water does not sit in low spots. Then we apply a basecoat, decorative flakes or a textured finish and a UV-stable clear topcoat. Lighter colors reflect more heat, which many owners appreciate on sunny patios, and a matte or textured finish helps traction when wet. We also talk about edges, steps and transitions to grass or pavers so they look finished. If the slab has serious structural problems, we recommend repair or replacement rather than covering it.
